  I’m Back!! written: September 20th, 2022 Well I initially thought I would start with an apology for my absence, but decided “NOPE” Instead I will tell you of my journey since I last podcasted.  It was some time in about mid June that I last recorded and since then much has occurred.  I could think of all that has gone “wrong” or I could just count it all as God’s sovereign plan for my life.  And I choose to go with the second option.   There are events, activities, plans and simple happenings that occur in each and everyone of our lives.  We aren’t always given a choice as to whether or not we want to have these occurrences happen to us or for us.  However we are ALWAYS given a choice as to how we will respond in such instances.   So back in June I was teaching for Saratoga Regional YMCA.  I was happy and very blessed with my job.  My coworkers were awesome and my supervisor was on point.  The job itself was “perfect.”...

  Ask #039 - Down The Driveway January 23, 2023 So I woke up this morning to SNOW…Just like anyone else in upstate New York today so I am not special or different but I felt different this morning.   It was 4:45 am and I had this urge to get up and shovel.  Like really, God?  I am sure there will be a delay and even if there is not a delay and I start now there is NO WAY I will make it out of here and to work on time.  So I put off getting up and just waited, but checked my phone periodically.   I stayed in bed until 5 am but then I just couldn’t ignore the urge to get up anymore.   I got up, put on my boots and a light jacket.  Yes, if my husband is reading this he will laugh because the other morning I went out and started shoveling in just my nightgown and boots (but have been known to go out and shovel in my flip flops with no coat so this was an improvement.)  For me there is something refreshing about going out in the cri...

ASK #002- Who Am I?

  written: January 18, 2022 So you probably are asking who is this new Blogger?   My name is TammyLyn Clark and I am a follower of Christ.  I have always followed the Lord being baptized as an infant, going through confirmation class and then confirming my faith in Christ as a teenager at Saint Paul's Lutheran church. I grew up attending church on a regular basis with my mother, father and two brothers.   After being confirmed as a teenager at Saint Paul's Lutheran church, I was highly involved in the Sunday school program. Once I was old enough I taught Sunday school later on becoming the Sunday school superintendent and a VBS leader. After  I graduated high school my study of God's Word became a little more formal as I attended the Lutheran college, Concordia Bronxville earning a  teacher's degree in elementary education.
