The Battle Belongs the the Lord

"Say to the mountain move from here to there and it will move" Matthew 17:20

We need to stop talking to God about the mountains and start speaking to the mountains about our God.

When Jesus was tempted by satan He responded with God's Word. He used God's Word like a two edged sword.

We need to stop being defensive and start playing the offensive role in our faithwalk.

We need to start to claim our victory that we have already won through Christ our Lord and Savior on Calvary.

When we are on offense we are able to battle the gates of Hades. The gates of Hades will not prevail.

A gate is known as a defensive mechanism. So when Christ states the gates of Hades will not prevail He is speaking to us about being on the offensive side.

The church was designed to be on the offensive side.

The purpose of playing offensive is to plan an attack and engage the opposing team....satan.

When playing defensive it is when you have the reactive approach to a situation. God wants us to plan and play offensive. We are not to wait and allow satan to attack us.

The one objective when playing offense is to score points against the other team. When playing defense the objective is to prevent the other team from scoring.

Just as when playing sports games it is more important to play offense because the objective is to score points or goals to win the game.

We too in the "game of life" need to play offense and score points for the Lord.

We are to gain more people for His kingdom.

We are to enlarge His family.

So get out there and PRAY offensively for Christ.

When we do this we are on the winning team. God our Heavenly Father is the best coach we can have in Life.

So quit talking to God about your problems and start talking to your problems about your all powerful, all knowing, loving God.
